AASA Member Meeting | Friday, Feb. 18th 2pm

***WE NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR HIGH SCHOOL CONFERENCE!!***
If you registered to volunteer for high school conference, there will be a volunteer training at 2:30-3:00pm.
We will be gathering a group to go to our February Fundraising event after the volunteer training at 3:00pm.
AASA February Family Dinner: PizzaRev! | Friday, Feb. 20th
Join us for a night of food and friends while we raise funds for our Asian American High School Conference and Asian American Awareness week. A 20% of every meal purchase will directly go towards these events. Event runs all day, but we will be dining as a group at five. Please put the date on you calendar in advance! As always, make sure to present the flyer or mention AASA at the register!

Invis(ability): Mental Health and Dis(ability) | Wednesday, Feb. 18th 8pm
When oppression is at work, individuals from many marginalized identities are made to feel invisible. In this interactive and discussion based program, join the Social Justice Advocates as we take this lens to individual and structural issues around Mental Health illnesses and (dis)ability.
Free food provided by Tasty Thai, including Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles.
Program begins promptly at 8:00 pm and ends approximately at 9:30 pm

20th Annual M.E.Ch.A. High School Conference | Thursday, Feb. 19th 8am-1:30pm
The University of Utah's Chapter of M.E.Ch.A. will be hosting the 20th annual Chicana/o Latina/o Youth Leadership High School Conference on February 19, 2015.
This year's theme is "Embracing Nuestras Culturas." Our keynote speaker is Richard Santana
During this conference, Latina/o high school and junior high school students will have the opportunity to attend workshops on topics such as leadership, education, community, health, and culture. They will receive information about university admissions, financial aid and scholarships and become familiar with the programs offered at the University of Utah. They will also be introduced to a community of Latina/o students at the University of Utah and to opportunities for involvement in its student groups.

VASA Lunar Year Celebration | Saturday, Feb. 19th 12pm
VASA will be hosting their fourth annual Lunar New Year Festival on February 21, 2015 at the Megaplex Theaters located in West Valley City (3620 South 2400 West).
***ADMISSION IS FREE***
We will have food, entertainment, lion dance, kids' games, lucky money (li xi), Ao Dai Fashion Show, and a raffle!

Asian American High School Conference 2015! | Feb. 27th 8am-1:30pm
We are excited to be hosting the 16th annual Asian American High School Conference (AAHSC), “Reclaiming Our Identities”, on February 27, 2015, 8:00AM – 1:30PM at the University of Utah. We are proud of announce AAHSC Keynote Speaker, Cindy Huynh.
The conference is open for 9th-12th grades. Register and attend to learn more about higher education, college admissions, scholarships, financial aid, majors, careers, resources on campus, student organizations, leadership opportunities, social justice, and many more. Along with many hands-on activities, students will be able to interact with higher administration and many Asian American professors.
FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FOR ALL OF THOSE WHO ATTEND!

SLCC "Taste of Asia" | March 10th 12-2pm
Slcc's ASA organization will be hosting their event "Taste of Asia" this year in the student center from 12-2pm! Admission is free for all so come and have a good time! (More info will be provided soon!)
