AASA Member Meeting with Dr. Villalpando | Friday, April 4th | 2:00PM-3:00PM
We'll be having an AASA member meeting this Friday at the CESA Lounge! As some of you may or may not know, Dr. Villalpando, the (former) U of U Chief Diversity Officer, has stepped down from his position and will instead serve as a full-time professor. Dr. Kathryn Stockton will be serving as his interim while a national search is conducted to take his place. He will be coming in during our meeting to speak with students and to answer any questions you may have. Hope you can make it! More info here.
AASA Officer Applications
For anyone interested in becoming an AASA student officer for next year, the officer applications will be up sometime this week!
AASA Graduation | Saturday, April 26th | 4:00PM-6:00PM
AASA Graduation will be held in the new business building (Spencer Fox Eccles Business Bldg, SFEBB) on the 7th floor! This event encourages all Asian American students who will be graduating this Spring, this Summer, and who have graduated last Fall (who are walking this May) to participate. Contact us if this applies to you and we'll send you a short form to receive a stole as part of the graduation, and to be both recognized and given some time to talk/share about your experiences at the event. This is a sit down dinner and each person may bring 2 guests. If you know any graduating seniors, do let them know to contact us so we can accommodate for them! Thanks so much :D

ECAASU National Board Application | Apply by Sunday, April 6thThe East Coast Asian American Student Union is known as the oldest and largest Asian American student organization in the country, and they're looking for a team of innovative young students. Diana and Karl Ping Pong Fundraiser | Friday, April 18th | 5:00 or 5:30PM
Our members Diana and Karl will be playing ping pong nationally (WHOOO!!!) in Virginia and are hosting a ping pong tourney to help fundraise for their expenses. It will be on campus at HPER North 101, $10 to play, learn from Diana or Karl, and you can donate/pay to challenge them to a game (if you win, you'll get more money than you challenged for). You're also free to donate, and come and watch! Poster here :)
