Tuesday, April 8th "Navigating through a Predominantly White Institution: Perspectives from Middle East, South East, & South Asian American Womxn"
There will be a panel from 1PM to 2:30PM in the Union Den to highlight the multitude of experiences that Asian American womxn at a predominantly white institution may face! They will be food ya'll :D
Wednesday, April 9th "Keynote: Suey Park"
We'll be discussing the impact and implications of hashtag activism in the East Ballroom from 1:30PM to 2:30PM! There'll be food here too :D

AASA Graduation | Saturday, April 26th | 4:00PM-6:00PM
AASA Graduation will be held in the new business building (Spencer Fox Eccles Business Bldg, SFEBB) on the 7th floor! This event encourages all Asian American students who will be graduating this Spring, this Summer, and who have graduated last Fall (who are walking this May) to participate. Contact us if this applies to you and we'll send you a short form to receive a stole as part of the graduation, and to be both recognized and given some time to talk/share about your experiences at the event. This is a sit down dinner and each person may bring 2 guests. If you know any graduating seniors, do let them know to contact us so we can accommodate for them! The YWCA's Young Women's Council is having a social at the YWCA Center for Families (310 E 300 S)! FB event here :D They are also looking for new members to join their Young Women's Council, more info on that here.
Diana and Karl Ping Pong Fundraiser | Friday, April 18th | 5:00 or 5:30PM
Our members Diana and Karl will be playing ping pong nationally (WHOOO!!!) in Virginia and are hosting a ping pong tourney to help fundraise for their expenses. It will be on campus at HPER North 101, $10 to play, learn from Diana or Karl, and you can donate/pay to challenge them to a game (if you win, you'll get more money than you challenged for). You're also free to donate, and come and watch! Poster here :)
JACL National Youth/Student Council Applications OUT! | Apply by April 19th
The 2014 Youth Delegate Campaign has been launched for the JACL (Japanese American Citizens League) National Convention in San Jose, CA from July 9-12, 2014! The purpose of this campaign is to increase the representation of student voices at annual Conventions. This is for students who are current members of JACL. Application here!
